There’s something for everyone at this vacation home rental in Costa Rica — with enough space for up to 20 guests to get a little lost. A retreat set among the trees of the forest, it boasts cool design by internationally-renowned architect Charly Wittock, elegant Balinese furnishings, and stellar ocean views.
The property offers guests the opportunity to separate and to congregate in equal measure. There are five bungalows with separate sleeping quarters. But the main building is the place to gather, with its large indoor-outdoor living room and vast, comfy sofas, plus a media room with flatscreen TV. There’s also a generously-equipped gourmet kitchen and a dining room with a long hardwood table that sits 14.
Each of the bungalows is a distinct space, with warm hardwood interiors, canopy beds and large windows that allow breezes to waft through. One bungalow is perfectly suited to a family – one bedroom has a king bed, the other has bunk beds and a twin. Another bungalow is tucked away, with stunning views of the winding mangrove swamps and the rich green hillsides, making it the ideal location for couples and honeymooners.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Each bungalow has a porch with Balinese day bed and massage table, an open-air heated shower, optional air conditioning, safe, mini-refrigerator, and entry lock. Extra services available include massage, yoga tuition, private chef and surf lessons.
