The nearby town of Monterosso is divided by a tunnel into two distinct parts: the old town and the new town and is ideal for walking and features the only extensive sandy beach in Cinque Terre. The daily boat service by Navigazione Golfo dei Poeti during summer is the best way to go from village to village and admire the stunning coastline from the sea.
