AROUND
Located in the village of Guatiza, the house is well positioned to explore the less touristy side of the island. It’s just five minutes (by car) from the lovely, unspoiled beach at Arrieta and also close to Playa La Garita, which is considered one of the finest beaches on Lanzarote.
It’s within walking distance of Cesar Manrique’s famous cactus garden, built in a disused quarry, and now housing 7,200 cacti. The Jameos del Agua and the Valley of 1000 Palms are also nearby.
The village of Guatiza is unspoiled but it does have all the amenities needed for a relaxing vacation – supermarket, cash point, bars and restaurants. It is surrounded in farmland and countryside which is great for exploring on foot.
