Located in the historic center of town, this holiday home in Siena is housed in an atmospheric 16th century palazzo surrounded by neighboring palaces and the sites and sounds of the city.

Originally a medieval structure, the palazzo has undergone several layers of renovations through the centuries, with the latest addition designed by architect Paolo Mori.

Collaborating with local craftsmen to preserve the lovely features, the apartment now pairs a sleek contemporary perspective without detracting from or competing with its historic significance.

Carved out of the larger structure, the apartment features the two main living and kitchen-dining areas capped with soaring frescoed ceilings, original marble and rich herringbone parquet floors, with custom designed furnishings made by local craftsmen.

Situated in the original medieval attic of the palazzo, the bedroom is divided into a hallway with a bathroom and a mezzanine. Here you’ll see the ancient wooden framework and terracotta bricks.

Showcasing its fascinating past with modern refinements, this palazzo has been given new life once again.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

Wifi throughout, cable TV, sound system, kitchen and bath amenities, climate control.

AROUND

One of Tuscany’s many jewels, this is the best central location in Siena near the historic and exclusive via di Citta. Situated near the Duomo and the Piazza del Campo, everything is within walking distance and at your doorstep in this magnificent UNESCO city.

You can experience the thrill of Palio di Siena at the nearby Piazzo del Campo, wander through the medieval streets to marvel at the extraordinary Gothic and Renaissance architecture, and discover each contrada (district) and their individual street scenes, chock full of amazing restaurants, trattorias and artisnal shops.

Endlessly picturesque, Tuscany remains one of the most idealized settings on earth and for good reason. Ideally situated close to several amazing historic hilltop towns in the UNESCO region of Val d’Orcia, including Montepulciano, Pienza and Perugia, you’ll want a car to explore and experience the region.
