Laid out on over two and a half acres of olive groves and grassy parkland, this vacation home rental in Puglia consists of a newly built central stone lamia housing the living room, a fully equipped kitchenette and two double bedrooms with their en suite bathrooms.

Separated from the central home is the completely restored original lamia and attached Saracen trullo, transformed into a cozy and intimate double suite, whose bathroom was refashioned from the vaulted stone alcove of the old structure. All rooms are equipped with TV, a safe, mosquito nets and blackout curtains.

The grounds are expansive and private, with outoor gazebos with shady areas dedicated to relaxation, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen, BBQ and dining area for entertaining and enjoying time alfresco. Ideal for families with children who can play to their hearts content in the extensive lawns and grounds.

There’s ample space on the sundeck for lounging poolside in the sunbeds  to fully enjoy the magical atmosphere of the Apulian countryside.

1 small midweek housekeeping and linen change (bathroom and beach towels) included with stays of minimum 1 week. 1 small weekly housekeeping and linen change (bedroom and kitchen linen) included for stays of minimum 1 week to maximum 4 weeks.

All utilities included in rental fee. Security system, Wifi throughout, cable TV, kitchen and bath essentials, climate control, laundry facilities, private parking. Children’s cot, high chair, cutlery and crockery available. 

 

AROUND

Located just a few miles from the famous “White Town” of Ostuni, the house is also twenty minutes from some of Puglia’s loveliest beaches on the Costa Merlata.

Ideally placed for exploring the enchanting Valle d’Itria, the villages of Martina Franca, Cisternino, Alberobello and Locorotondo are some of the most well preserved and fascinating in Puglia.  The charming little fishing harbor of Savelletri and the lovely old town of Ceglie Messapica, renowned for its excellent cuisine, are both under a half hour away. 

The amazing Torre Guaceto nature reserve, includes both a widely protected marine and wilderness area perfect for exploring the coastal beauty. Don’t miss the charming old town of Polignano a Mare with breathtaking cliffside views of the Adriatic forty minutes north.

A truly unique cultural experience, the Itria Valley offers amazing food, wine and miles of beautiful coastline.  It’s an hour from the beaches of the Ionian Sea which are often referred to as the Italian Maldives for their crystal clear water. Further afield, the UNESCO town of Matera is just under two hours drive and worth a day trip.
