Designed and custom built by southern architect Corbett Scott, the home’s camelback design and quintessential New Orleans architecture fits right in with the city’s historic charms.

The home’s main living space is illuminated by windows on all sides, with a dining area and French doors that lead out to the gardens and patio. 

The large professionally equipped kitchen is a foodie’s dream with a central island that creates convivial social spaces for sharing. 

There are three light-filled double bedrooms on the upper floor with room for up to six guests. The outdoor terrace has dining spaces and a front porch that puts you right in the scene. 

Custom details include patchwork tile and original artwork, with clubby Chesterfield furnishings and timeless antique finishes and decor that lend an old world elegance that connects you with the city’s unique past.

You’ll be right in the middle of the action from here. Just minutes from the French Quarter, in the thriving Bywater neighborhood, the district has emerged as one of the vital centers of town with a thriving art scene and some of the most inventive new restaurants in the city. 

Centered around St. Claude Avenue, there are more than thirty visual and performing arts locations, along with an array of artisan galleries. Close to Frenchmen Street and down river from Marigny, the area is also home to some of the best nightspots and live music in New Orleans. 

Close to the parade route for P’Tit Rex (shoe box floats) and just a few blocks from many of the city’s most eccentric parades: Krewe du Vieux, Delusion, Chewbacchus, and Saint Anne Parades.
