Just a fifteen-minute drive to the sea at the edge of the forest, this luxury villa in Spain is tucked away among the highland greenery of Catalonia’s wine country, offering the sensation of being immersed into the woods.

Towering two stories high, the interiors are spacious and lofty with soaring, double-height ceilings. The ground floor spaces flow into one another, eliminating both interior and exterior boundaries, with a striking modern style that sets an almost zen-like tone.

Stripping away any artifice and leaving pure structural composition in its place, the villa’s bold whitewashed angles and box forms, create interconnecting interiors that allow the eye to wander, with plenty of space for entertaining and relaxing. There’s a central lounge with a fireplace, an elegant dining area and a sleek, fully equipped modern kitchen.

A crisp white on white monochrome palette extends throughout the whole house and pairs luxurious but understated modern furnishings with African-themed decor and elegant finishes.

There are a total of six bedrooms and four bathrooms with a separate loft that includes a fully equipped kitchen and access to the swimming pool, and room for up to thirteen guests.

The grounds are ideal for holiday fun in the sun with a large swimming pool, outdoor lounge spaces with dining areas, and space to spread out and relax in style.

CATALONIA’S WINE REGION

Forty minutes outside of Barcelona, the Penedès region is brimming with history, culture, gastronomy, and bucolic landscapes. Surrounded by vineyards the town of Sitges in the heart of Penedès, makes an ideal base for immersing yourself in the life and culture of this fascinating historical wine-growing region.

Surrounded by the Garraf, Foix, Ordal, and Olèrdola nature parks the area is also just minutes from the coves and beaches of the Costa del Garraf. Extending from the town of Gavà to Vilanova i la Geltrú into Sitges, the Costa Dorada is on the way to Tarragona, where you’ll find some of the best Catalonian beaches including Canyadel and Muntanyans and the favorite, Platja Llarga.

A seaside town of celebrated artistic, culinary and cultural treasures, Barcelona is home to stunning Gothic, Medieval, Romanesque and Modernist masterpieces all housed along the sparkling Mediterranean with the forest-covered Collserola Hills as a backdrop.

The Sant Antoni part of the Eixample district is an area that has reinvented itself as one of the premier dining destinations of Barcelona with world class cuisine as well as a colorful and quirky area of shops, bars, and cultural spaces in neighboring Raval.

The Passeig de Gracia and Rambla Catalunya are praised by locals for being one of the nicest in central Barcelona.

Sometimes referred to as the Cuadrado de Oro, it’s the epicenter for modernism in Barcelona and features the work of modernist architects Antoní Gaudi, Enric Sagnier and Doménech I Muntaner.
