Located in the heart of Milan, this opulent 16th century residence was one of the few that remained following extensive bombing during WW2. Set along the Borgo Nuovo, the area is the heart of the city and the epicenter of the former aristocracy. A classically elegant building, it has belonged to the same family for over two hundred years and represents the glorious history of the Visconti period.

Composed of just four lavish suites, the home was meticulously designed and curated by the owner whose adventurous spirit and keen eye for detail reflects his extensive world travels and appreciation of global culture.

Luxurious and expressive, each of the four suites is characterized by a fascinating mix of styles and design themes of magnificent diversity that also showcase the historic beauty of the building. During restoration, many of the building’s original features and secrets were revealed with hidden portals and  decorative accents that remain today.

Each of the four suites is designed for two and combine the modern comforts of a hotel along with the privacy of an apartment and are fully equipped. A rich repository of global art and culture, this is storytelling through design and style where both the city and the world come alive.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

Breakfast served daily. Optional concierge services with butler. Daily housekeeping with laundry services (and change of towels and linens every third day). Wifi throughout, 2 satellite cable TVs in each suite. Bath amenities. Complimentary soft drinks, beverages, coffee and teas.

AROUND

The Borgo Nuovo is Milan’s most exclusive street and lies within the heart of the city. Formerly known as the “sciuri district” or the “road of the lords,” many of the city’s leading families had residences here. As Italy’s fashion and design capital, Milan pulses with creative energy, art and culture. More industrialized and businesslike than many of the country’s famous cities, it’s the financial and commercial hub of the north and hosts the world’s most iconic fashion week, design week and World EXPO. Be sure to check out the bustling tourist center of Corso Como for some world class shopping, Chinatown, the artsy neighborhood of Brera and the indie spirited Isola district. Although much of it was flattened during WW2, many treasures remain and of course no trip would be complete without a visit to the world famous La Scala opera and the Santa Maria delle Grazie convent, home to Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper.” You can reach the famed lake Como in under an hour drive.
