BEST TIME TO VISIT
September is a very good month. There is a brilliant festival in Pisa of sacred music. June is a good month as well, because it is when the summer starts and it is not very busy. And in July you have all the various festivals. The Puccini festival with the opera on the lake, you have all the rock and pop and jazz festivals in Lucca, and there are a lot of exhibitions happening during the peak months of the summer. So there is always something going on. In February, you have the carnival, which is also a big thing.
