Perched among historical gardens in an exclusive neighborhood at the entrance to Old Town Dubrovnik, this newly restored 19th century villa overlooks the city and the sparkling blue Adriatic. First built as summer house, today the property has been transformed into an elegantly polished residence.

Painstakingly reconstructed under the watchful supervision of the Croatian Ministry of Culture and Conservation Department, the owners enlisted the talents of local craftsmen and experts to faithfully restore the architectural and decorative elements to their former glory. The magnificent ceiling paintings, stone, wood and iron work were all brought back to life, striking an intriguing balance between the historic elements and a pared down minimalism. The whitewashed interiors are bright and spacious combining modern standards and strong functionality with eye-catching artwork and 

Scandinavian inspired furnishings and decor designed by a prominent Belgian architect. The main house includes four en-suite double bedrooms with three separate accommodations that can accommodate up to four additional guests. There is an intimate living room and reading room and a large eat-in kitchen with a massive dining hall table. The property also includes a larger professional kitchen for events and gatherings and a meeting room below the villa.

The grounds are expansive and beautifully terraced with lush gardens and a pool facing the sea as well as an open air grill and al fresco dining area overlooking the views. A fully equipped sauna sits beside the villa for relaxing steams and and a discreet konoba lounge is the ideal spot to beat the heat and enjoy a glass of wine together.

Just ten minutes from Danče beach (Plaža Danče) the rocky bay is ideal for nature lovers and is one of the most popular and oldest beaches in Dalmatia and Dubrovnik. A truly awe inspiring city, the walled ramparts and jumble of Baroque, Gothic and Renaissance architecture is not to be missed, with the limestone and marble Stradun reserved for pedestrians and filled with vibrant shops and cafes. A World Heritage site, the city is undergoing renovations by UNESCO and includes beautifully preserved buildings including both the Sponza and Rector’s palaces and the walled fort. Grab a cable car up to Mt. Srđ for spectacular views. Known as the “Dubrovnik Riviera” the nearby harbor towns of Cavtat and Mlini are charming coastal villages that offer a beachy cafe society.
