Restoring and retaining all of its original features including limestone exteriors, oak beams, thatched roofing and an inglenook fireplace has resulted in a successful mix of old and new. There are spacious communal areas linked to cozy traditional rooms in the original part of the cottage, combining quality and style with comfort and luxury. An open staircase leads down to three reception areas and a large kitchen and dining room with french doors that lead onto the terraces and out to the gardens. The dining area’s triple aspect windows, soaring oak beamed ceilings and seating for twelve is the heart of the house designed for celebrations. There are comfortable sofas and a lovely wood-burning stove for cozy nights around the hearth. Each of the four luxuriously appointed bedrooms are peaceful and private, with an en-suite master and dressing area, two additional twin rooms with their own spacious shower room, and a three-bed room and large bathroom on the ground floor.
The lush landscaped gardens include two beautiful terraces, one under a vine and rose-covered pergola for al fresco dining, and the other to capture sunny afternoons. Designed as a charming escape with plenty of room for family and friends, the hot tub, roof terrace and play areas invite you to relax, unwind and recharge.

Located just west of Southampton alongside the New Forest National Park near the Solent, this bucolic Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty covers over two hundred square miles along the south eastern coast. There are wonderful walks just outside your door with direct access to the Gypsy Wood, Norleywood and the old forest of Furzey woods amongst many others. There are also beaches nearby such as Lepe Beach, Milford Beach and Christchurch bay as well as a beautiful Solent Way walk of 17 miles passing Royal Lymington and Lymington Sailing club and many nature reserves and bird watching areas. The charming and friendly local village of East Boldre has great restaurants, shops and pubs within easy reach and lies just a few miles from both the harborside town of Lymington with its Saturday markets and cafes, and Beaulieu village. The quaint coastal towns are the launching spots across the Solent to the Isle of Wight with the ferry just five minutes from the house.
