Located on fourteen acres of the far west shores of Cornwall, this country cottage is nestled into the fields just above Porthilly Cove in Rock with spectacular views across the Camel Estuary. A designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the property lies at the doorstep of the famous Camel Trail cycle path overlooking the windswept landscape and waterways. Built in the 18th century, the cottage shares the site and facilities with the main farmhouse next door, with ample room and privacy for everyone.

Owners Liz and Charlie Berman’s background in hospitality extends from England to Switzerland with a portfolio of holiday rentals that focus on sophisticated interior design and creature comforts. Following two years of restoration, the house has been outfitted with cleverly integrated state of the art technology with a keen eye for detail and a homey mix of English and Scandinavian furnishings and decor. The open plan kitchen and dining area are adjacent to the sitting room with fireplace and study with much of the original exposed beam and flagstone and oak flooring intact. There’s a media room that can double as a twin bedroom and playroom and each of the bedrooms upstairs are decorated with differing themes and cozy comforts.

Surrounding by lush gardens, the outdoor terrace is designed for al fresco dining with shared access to the tennis court, vegetable garden, pool and jacuzzi.
