Completed in 2012 by Austrian architect Peter Jungmann, the property was designed as an all season recreational retreat that shares the space with three other apartments within the complex. A striking “Badehütte Weissensee” (bath-house) was added along the shoreline as a companion structure to the property and is the recipient of the 2007 Carinthian Timber Construction Prize and the 2008 Building Prize of the Province of Carinthia.
With a fully equipped state of the art kitchen and dining area and two bedrooms and a bonus sleeping area, the apartment sleeps up to six and comes equipped with a sauna.
Head out to the balcony to dine and take in the views or down to the bath house to enjoy the property’s private shoreline and lakeside beach which is one of the largest in the area with a playground, sun loungers and lovely shade trees included in the price.

The Weissensee lake region in the Gailtal Alps of Carinthia is the largest natural ice surface in Europe. Frozen solid from mid-December to early March, it’s a massive wonderland for winter sports. In warmer climes, you can go boating on the shores of nearby Mühlbach brook or enjoy the many mountain trails and woods right on your doorstep.
