This charming farmhouse is set among rolling hills in north-eastern Skåne. Surrounded by forests and footpaths, it offers views of unspoilt nature for miles.
We love the interplay of modern and traditional – the original structure of the house with its playful curved wooden fence and layered terrace leading into the garden. Its interiors are bright, with bursts of vibrant color and eclectic decor, vintage pieces juxtaposed with modern furnishings like curved Bruno Mattson armchairs.
The hotel is made up of two different buildings. The main gray house has six individually-decorated double rooms with private bathrooms. The black house has four rooms with two shared bathrooms.
The hotel is well-known for its events, which can be held in four different spaces (3 spaces for up to 10 people, and 1 for 40-50 people). Bookings are accepted for events all year round, but the hotel is open for individual rentals during the summer.
Interestingly, the property is owned by Christmas tree farmers who invite their guests to take a walk through their farm – a 1.5- to 2-hour excursion that finishes with stone-baked pizza in the outdoor kitchen. They also offer acoustic musical and storytelling evenings with finger foods and drinks (for an additional charge).
This is a lovely small luxury hotel in Sweden, perfect for individual bookings, but also great for larger parties and events.

The hotel is located in the small village of Degeberga, in north-eastern Skåne (Scania), the southernmost county in Sweden. The area is known for the highest waterfall in Scania, which is located in the nearby Forsakar Nature Reserve. An outdoor pool (Forsakarsbadet) in a valley just next to the nature reserve, is open to visitors during the summer.
