Located among the stunning natural scenery of the Swiss Alps, this recently renovated mountain lodge dates back to the 1920s when it was originally built as a family farm house. Surrounded by stunning peaks and forests, the property passed through several owners until 2013 when the new owners purchased and renovated it in its current incarnation. With a passion for architecture, sport and most of all the gorgeous mountain regions, reconstruction was a years long process the resulted in the unique and modern interpretation of the lodge today. Preserving and incorporating the colorful history and wherever possible, the original elements of the structure, the house has successfully combined the two. The large spruce slabs form the original core of the house with its main wooden staircase rising through three floors connecting a chic communal living and dining area and library with the ten guest rooms. Seven double rooms offer an en suite bathroom with the three remaining rooms sharing two modern bathrooms in a specially created bath cube. Each is a calm and private retreat and all are designed with an individual take on the modern alpine theme. Discovered during renovations, the soft colors of 1920s were restored and paired with a mix of classic and modern furnishings and consciously unconventional modern accents for a refreshingly authentic update.
Weather permitting, you can enjoy large garden in the morning sun and lounge on the terrace to watch sunsets. There’s even a “garden suite” for sleeping under the stars.

Located at the very end of a wide side valley of the Bernese Oberland where the Wildstrubel massif forms one of the most breathtaking landscapes in the Alps, the charming village of Lenk is surrounded by endless natural beauty. Ideally situated adjacent to some of the areas best ski slopes, there are also over seventy five kilometers of hiking, biking and cross-country skiing trails to discover. The close network of trails includes over one hundred and eighty five kilometers of downhill slopes for all levels of skiers and both winter and summer fun. The town features many excellent restaurants, wine bars and shops and the nearby thermal baths of the Lenkerhof is where you can sink into the spa waters apres ski.
