Just ten minutes from central Essaouira – ‘The Jewel of the Atlantic’ – this villa for rent in Morocco is a well preserved riad at the heart of the Berber Ksar.

An elegant, historic holiday home that focuses on stylish Moroccan living, the traditional structure is composed of vertical wrap around profile that provides a spacious and intimate environment as well as bright open spaces arranged around an interior courtyard. Updated with a light touch and an eye for detail, the interiors are an inspired synthesis of traditional  and contemporary design with earthy materials and a simple but colorful mix of authentic Moroccan and custom designer furnishings, textiles and decor created by a renowned Paris based designer and fashion muse.

The living and dining areas are bright and airy and include a large kitchen that opens out to the outdoor lounge areas and courtyard. With four completely renovated en suite bedrooms, the house can sleep up to ten.

The inward focus and proportions make the courtyard, framed by its antique columns and beautiful palm trees, the calm and cool central lounging area while a spacious and private rooftop terrace allows for sunbathing, lounging and great sky view dining. The pool is a sheltered, cooling respite from the desert sun and the ideal place to unwind and enjoy the Moroccan experience.
