Located along a quiet stretch of the Pacific, the coastal land surrounding Playa Viva is rich in biodiversity and more remote and isolated than it’s flashier neighbors to the north. Although parts of the town have succumbed to mass tourism, the easy going lifestyle of nearby Zihuatanejo’s historic fishing village still remains in some parts.
