Located in an elegantly restored historic building on a quiet street in Roma Norte, this stylish boutique hotel in Mexico City is immersed within the lively and artistic Roma Norte neighborhood just west of the city center.
A hybrid concept designed by Mexico City resident and globetrotter Yves Naman, the hotel and ground floor boutique was created in partnership with French designer Emmanuel Picault. The three story townhouse’s ornate facade gives way to lush interiors that don’t follow the rules, with a chic mix of styles and eras that complement the more traditional features of the early 20th century building.
The ground floor El Patio suite is a timeless fusion of Mexican and European styles, with bold statement pieces and elegant accents. As the name suggests, it comes complete with a breezy private patio where you can while away some time in the swing or the hammock. The en suite baths features dazzling geometric tile and indulgent soaking tubs.
Upstairs, La Luna has a more romantic, vintage vibe with décor by interior design studio Chic by Accident and a gigantic fiberglass parabolic antenna «La Luna” that divides the spaces. With pale hardwood floors, bright pink color washing and an eclectic mix of 60s and 70’s era accents, it’s modern and a little edgy.
The lavish top floor La Terraza suite is the crowning glory, with a combined living and bedroom space with fireplace and a king-size bed on rails that can be rolled out onto the rooftop terrace for sleeping under the stars. The slide away walls create a bright open air environment decorated with additional pieces from Chic by Accident and comes equipped with a projector for private movie nights on the terrace.
While there is no restaurant, guests can request room-service created and prepared by Rosetta Restaurant chef Elena Reygadas – the recipient of Latin America’s Best Female Chef by the San Pellegrino 50 Best Restaurants jury.
