This lovely two hundred and fifty year old manor house has remained in the same family for generations and is loaded with rich history. Set within a beautiful five acre property of manicured gardens, the estate is enveloped by picturesque countryside.

Originally a working farm, the property’s main manor house is surrounded by multiple barns and buildings dating back to the 16th century.

The stately Georgian facade gives way to lushly detailed interiors with a main floor lounge, study and formal dining room on the ground floor and a large country style kitchen. Richly designed with all original beams, decorative details, bold colors and patterns, the rooms have been decorated with unique personal touches, antiques and contributions from each successive generation. Upstairs are six bedrooms with room for up to ten guests many of which have working fireplaces. All of the rooms facing the garden feature spectacular views of the famous Bayeux cathedral.

The property is bordered by beautiful rose gardens and surrounded by manicured box hedges with a large pond, sweeping lawns, a tennis court (shared with other property occupants) and miles of pristine back drops featuring the famous lush Normand grassy meadows.

A timeline of a family’s life through the years, this luxury villa in Normandy is ready to host your family for a memorable holiday.

AROUND

The windswept Normandy coast with its sandy beaches, D-Day landing spots and American cemetery at Omaha Beach are within a few minutes drive where you can  take in the beauty as well as the sobering history of the region. The nearby inland town of Bayeux is an atmospheric medieval city with timbered houses and cobbled stone streets and is home to the imposing Gothic cathedral (which you can see from the villa) that houses the famous Bayeux Tapestry.

The charming harbor town of Port-en-Bessin is just a few minutes away and has plenty to offer guests in the village and beyond.
