The nearby inland town of Bayeux is an atmospheric medieval city with timbered houses and cobbled stone streets and is home to the imposing Gothic cathedral (which you can see from the villa) that houses the famous Bayeux Tapestry.
The charming harbor town of Port-en-Bessin is just a few minutes away and has plenty to offer guests in the village and beyond. Walks along the sand, journeys by boat, hiking and biking along the sea, buying the daily catch from local fishermen and the Sunday market. The beautiful Mont St Michel is just over an hour drive.
