Each of the five spacious bedrooms offers its own touch of indulgence. Gilded vault details outline the pristine white master suite, its freestanding bath calling to you beside a double marble vanity. Cherubs in the 17th century ceiling fresco by Nicolas Poussin serenade you in the queen bedroom. A private sauna awaits in the king bedroom. Six baths offer an assortment of spacious Italian showers and deep bathtubs furnished with bath amenities by the quintessentially Italian brand Ortigia, inspired by the flowers and culture of Sicily.

In the vast light-filled living and dining room, Eames, Panton, and Castiglioni lounge beneath a magnificent 16th century ceiling fresco by Frederico and Taddeo Zuccari depicting Allegories of the Months and Virtues. Plush velvet sofas offer respite from a day of walking in the Eternal City. Piazza Mattei and its iconic Fontana delle Tartarughe lie just below its towering windows.

The Castel Sant’ Angelo with its elaborate rooms and panoramic views of the Eternal City is a leisurely 20 minute stroll across the Tiber.
