Built in 1892 among the rolling hills of the Marche region, this luxury villa in Italy is tucked away in the countryside just a short drive from the famous beaches of Mt. Conero on the Adriatic.
Originally a farmhouse, the extensive restoration has transformed it into a sophisticated and lovingly detailed retreat that bridges the old and new. Featured in numerous leading magazines, it’s located near a characteristic village and some of the area’s most interesting cultural and historic heritage cities.
Constructed of ancient stone and developed on three levels, the traditional Marchigiana farmhouse’s dominant vantage point on the hilltop offers panoramic views surrounded by olive-groves and Mediterranean gardens.
The large glass windows allow the landscape to become part of the architecture, creating a space filled with natural light where the outdoors becomes the indoors, and where the hills are an integral part of the house itself.
The house has been restored using traditional local and recycled materials with colorful and authentic “Cementina” tiles creating uniquely beautiful patchwork walls in the bathrooms and kitchen. Imposing rustic beams, stone, marble, laser-cut iron shutters, and old terracotta tiles add texture and timeless style.
There are two expansive living spaces, one on the lower floor and one on the upper and a spacious dining area off of the double sided kitchen that opens out to the poolside gardens. With a total of five bedrooms, the villa sleeps up to ten guests, making it a great getaway for a large group of family or friends.
Great attention is paid to detail, with a chic and simple mix of modern and vintage furnishings and finishes.
The large outdoor spaces invite you to spend relaxing days by the swimming pool or in the dining area underneath a large pergola overlooking the scenic countryside.
