Remarkably, this property has been in the hands of the same family since it was built around 1800. Built as a wedding gift from the current owner’s great-great-grandfather to his wife, it is ornate neoclassical in style and listed by the Italian Ministry for Arts and Culture as a monumental building.
The palazzo features a series of grand halls on the ground floor, with lovely arched ceilings. Until World War II, this was where horse-drawn carriages would pass through, allowing their passengers to alight. An elegant staircase leads from the Grand Hall to the piano nobile, or first floor, where the family used to live. This living area has now been divided into luxury apartments.
The apartment has two bedrooms with king-sized beds. One can be split into two singles, and there is an additional single in the living room, as well as a baby cot.
One of the most interesting features of the palazzo is its elevated, hanging garden, which is located on the first floor and accessed exclusively through this apartment.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
There is a satellite TV, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, cooker, and a paddling pool.
