AROUND

North Devon is a picturesque natural playground known for it’s wild stretches of golden beaches, rocky coves and dramatic cliffs (Woolacombe, Croyde Bay and Saunton Sands are a few of the best) and it’s naturally biodiverse dunes at Braunton Burrows, as well as the famed South West Coast Path; Britain’s longest national trail at over six hundred miles.

Just fifteen minutes from the medieval town of Barnstaple, a wealth of cultural experiences also beckon, with excellent local pubs, gastronomy and the Tarka Trail footpath and cycleway that passes along the Taw riverfront. Once a hub of trade and commercial activity, the town has retained much of it’s medieval character at the center along with subsequent eras including a lovely Victorian market.

Closer to home, you’ll find a picturesque swath of woodland to the north west of the property, perfect for a quiet stroll in the countryside.
