A living canvas dedicated to the collaborative arts of interior design and artistic innovation, the home presents art and design in an intimate and livable space. The historic building has undergone a contemporary restoration that also embraces the traces of a bygone era with soft, neutral shades and natural materials including handmade tiles, eco-flooring and natural lime plaster imbuing it with warmth and style.
The decor was designed with a keen eye for detail and is a fascinating blend of vintage art and contemporary design, with pieces from the famous Belgian label, Serax. Inspired in its simplicity, the home provides an immersive and ever-changing creative experience.
On the ground floor there is a bright living room with a cozy sitting corner and a dining area.
The open kitchen is heaven for foodies, with professional grade appliances at your disposal and tableware designed by top-chef Sergio Herman.
The wooden stairs climb to the spacious bedroom loft that can sleep up to four (there are two separate single beds available here) with folding screens designed by Studio Simple that divide it for more privacy and a study-corner with a writing desk.
The semi-covered, white walled pebble garden and terrace is furnished by Paola Navone and is the perfect place to get in a holiday mood.

Only two blocks down the road you find the former shipyard of Tielrode, the biotope of the internationally renowned artist duo ‘atelier lachaert dhanis’. The ferry will take you across the river to one of the few remaining reserves in Belgium.
