From their perch overlooking the stunning scenery of Chianti, these two separate villas for rent in Tuscany’s prestigious winery area of Luiano have undergone a bright modern make-over with a respectful nod to the past.

Owner and architect Francesca Chiostri wanted to retain the warmth and traditional aspects of the structures while infusing them with modern standards and an artist’s creative perspective.

Similar in layout and design, the complete renovation has expanded and lightened the interiors with sleek concrete floors, state of the art modcons and a fresh, minimalist design approach blending seamlessly with the vintage accents. Large iron windows make the houses bright and cheerful and give stunning panoramas of the surrounding countryside.

The living and dining areas are placed off of the gleaming modern kitchens, one accompanied with a refrigerated cellar for the optimal conservation of wines that will be your best friends during your stay.

Upstairs are a total of five double bedrooms divided between the two houses with room for up to ten guests.

The two hectare property offers plenty of space for garden and vineyard walks, lazy afternoons in the shade of the jasmine pergola and lounge areas next to the pool, and stunning views of the countryside.

There are two terraces where you can fire up the outside wood oven and BBQ and dine al fresco at the large table for ten, made of iron and wood designed by the owner.

Come enjoy the rural beauty and romance of Tuscany, with a glass of local vino, a cooling dip in the pool, and relaxing days of escape.
