Arranged around a central courtyard much like a monastery garden or village square, this vacation home rental in Germany is a thoughtfully repurposed farmstead designed as both a holiday destination and a venue for cultural activities, work and artist in residency programs.
A heritage listed site, the property is comprised of four separate farm buildings that form an ensemble of individual dwellings. Carefully renovated with respect for its history while remaining stylistically rustic, the property was also designed to promote the interchange between rural and urban life.

The spaces are furnished and equipped with sustainable, upcycled, restored and repurposed furnishings and art designed by the owner. The large former barn has been transformed into an event venue, while the former coach house is is a work space and office.
The organic gardens boast a variety of delicious fruits, vegetables and herbs for guests to enjoy.
