Located in an early 20th century townhouse along a historic avenue in Ghent, this vacation home for rent in Belgium is a story about family and a love for color and design passed on from mother to daughter.
Always on the hunt for unique combinations of tasteful, one-of-a-kind decorative items, their creative partnership culminated in their first design collaboration.
Creating two distinctive spaces within the building, the duo came up with very different palettes.
The Boho Cave apartment is a light filled space of minimalist design, decorated in a simple Mediterranean style, with whitewashed walls and floors, and warm earthy materials. Newly renovated, the interiors are calm and inviting, with three sleeping spaces that can accommodate up to five guests and one Moroccan tiled bathroom. There’s a fully equipped kitchen and reading corner with Moroccan pillows, and a nice little private patio where you can relax or sit in the sun.
Upstairs, the Apollo Suite is an eclectic space, color washed in dramatic hues with much of the original features of the townhouse incorporated into the design including the high ceilings and ornate fireplace. The compact space includes a double bed, a desk space with a reading space and a kitchenette.
The suite overlooks the park and has a big bohemian terrace where you can relax or sit in the sun.

Perfectly situated in the historic center of Ghent, near the iconic medieval Gravensteen fortress and castle with plenty of excellent local restuarants, fun shops and beer pubs nearby.
It’s an intimate but vibrant town with a combination of beautiful medieval history and ancient waterways and a bustling contemporary culture.
The Sint-Baafs Cathedral and Korenmarkt are a also just a short walk and the popular tourist centers of Patershol (the oldest part of the city) and Graslei/Korenlei are just ten minutes away. The Veldstraat shopping district and the tram which takes you to St. Pieter train station are also within a short walk.
