Set on three levels, each floor features expansive glass sliders and windows allowing the views of the rainforest to be enjoyed from every area of the house. 

The main open-plan living space is clad in cool flagstone with a soaring A-frame ceiling that allows the breezes to pass through. There’s a supersized kitchen and a dining area with a sheltered balcony where you can admire the views. Upstairs is a mezzanine bedroom, with two additional double bedrooms right off the pool, so you can start your day with a dip.

All of the spaces offer an abundance of dappled light and soothing tropical  breezes and their own eclectic style.

During the day you can enjoy the amazing sea view which is transformed into a canvas of shining lights at night just beckoning an aperitif and dinner on the balcony. 

The grounds feature cascading walkways that meander through the lush gardens and a lovely plunge pool. 

From sunrise to sunset, it’s the perfect place to escape and relax in a tropical retreat.

AROUND

Just fifteen minutes inland from the busy resort town of Cairns, the town of Smithfield sits at the front of the Kuranda and Dinden Forest Reserves, making it a great base to explore the bustling coastal city and an abundance of North Queensland’s natural beauty.

The Skyrail Rainforest Cable car departs right from Smithfield for a trip through the rainforest, Baron Falls and the Kuranda Scenic Railway.

Cairns is the doorway to many northern communities and sights including Port Douglas, Mossman Gorge, Cape Tribulation, Cooktown and more, offering plenty of natural attractions, native wild life, cultural displays, unique tourist hotspots and is a food lovers delight.

Head out for a day trip into the nearby Atherton Tablelands which offers visitors insight into the local agricultural community, where a wealth of local produce is on show and available to sample. 

The scenic drive is a feast for the eyes, with plenty of attractions and beaches to stop and visit along the way.
