Bordering the Krzczonowski Natural Park in the Lublin region, this monumental holiday home in Poland was designed in striking harmony with its natural environment.
Placed above a stream and immersed within the trees, this former farm was reborn as an earthy modern home in communion with nature.
Both the imposing facade and interiors in Dolomite stone lend color and texture to the structure while the clean lines of the wood add warmth and depth.
The living room is wrapped in a wooden terrace with windows all around, and a dining area with a sleek kitchen.
There are two serene bedrooms with dreamy deep soaking tubs, all with forest views.
There’s a sauna and yoga room that encourage deep relaxation, and organic vegetable, fruit and herb gardens for guests to enjoy.
The property leads down to the cold springs for a clarity inducing plunge from the dock.
Inhale deeply and experience the zen of silence and the rhythym of nature at this extraordinary retreat.

AROUND
The little village of Wygnanowice lies at the edge of the Krzczonowski Natural Park in the far eastern Lublin region, just a thirty minute drive from the regional capital of Lublin. Surrounded by forests, meadows and streams, it’s the perfect rural getaway with bike paths, trails and woodlands to explore.
The ninth-largest city in Poland and the second-largest city and regional capital of the east, Lublin is one of those underrated and often overlooked cities.
It’s unfortunate position during the war left some of the city in ruins, but it remains a charming and picturesque destination with cobbled stone streets and squares, Baroque and Renaissance architecture, and historic pastel colored merchant homes lining the boulevards. The 14th century royal castle was spared and hovers over the streets with cafes, parks and Museums to explore.
Situated in between Krakow and Vilnius the city was an important merchant hub throughout history and remains thriving business and trade city, with an authentic Polish heart.
