Originally developed in the 1970s, the prestigious residential neighborhood of El Paraiso along the Costa del Sol was designed as a resort destination centered the Andalusian seaside. Its quiet, tree-lined streets, lovely villas and proximity to the sea make it a popular yet private destination.
A ten minute drive will put you at the exclusive Puerto Banus, with it’s world class dining, shopping and pricey yachts bobbing in the harbor, with Marbella and it’s famed nightlife twenty minutes east and Malaga under an hour further.
Famed for it’s spectacular long white beaches, high sand dunes and coastal surf spots, nearby Tarifa is also home to an ancient Moorish castle, narrow streets and quaint “chiringuitos,” with a laid back ambience. As the gateway to North Africa, the local ferry from Tarifa can take you to the exotic town of Tangiers in under an hour.
