Built within an integrated nature preserve deep within the Laurentian mountain range, this modern cabin is in lovely harmony with its natural setting. Constructed of locally sourced all natural and recycled materials, the home is an homage to the beauty of the Canadian wilderness.
Set on three levels, the elevated layout allows for bright open plan living on the main floor with peaceful views of the forest and nearby stream with bedrooms above and below. Lined with blue stone floors, recycled barn wood ceilings and accents, the fireside living area is the heart of the house with a large eat in gourmet kitchen and dining area perfect for family gatherings. The main floor opens out to a three season veranda with Finnish sauna and wrap around porch with sundeck overlooking the stream. With four bedrooms and two baths the house can sleep up to eight guests.
The views of the river are omnipresent throughout the interior of the house and can be enjoyed from all floors.
Outside, a campfire area is set on a stone terrace overlooking the stream with an outdoor spa for soaking in the views.

The area is a vast and stunning landscape of lush green mountains with multiple lakes and endless outdoor activities. The house is under twenty minutes from the towns of Morin Heights, Ste-Agathe-des-Monts, St-Sauveur and Ste-Adèle and just forty minutes from Mont-Tremblant, the year round ski resort on the shores of Lake Tremblant, featuring amazing winter sports, golf courses and a charming shopping village. Montreal is an hour south.

BEST TIME TO VISIT: This is a great year round area for Summer and Winter activities with December to March being the best for winter sports. March and April are great for the maple harvest, and late September the colors of fall emerge.
