On the main level, there’s a living space with open kitchen, dining and family room built using mostly sustainable materials. There are also three bedrooms (2 with queens and one with a bunk that sleeps 2 down and 1 up) and another in the loft (with a queen bed and futon). There’s a bathroom on each floor, each with a walk-in shower.
This is a great vacation home for rent in Portland for two families sharing, or a large group of friends.

The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, coffee grinder and blender. The house has air conditioning and gas heat, a laundry room, DVD player with satellite/cable TV, and a stereo. A small collection of books and magazines is provided, as well as a few toys, and there’s an outside play area, with a garden that’s great for picnics and BBQs. A pack ‘n’ play and high chair are available if needed. There is free on-street parking (no reserved space).
AROUND
Alberta Street is one of the coolest areas in Portland. It’s lined with galleries, boutiques, several of the city’s best restaurants, and dozens of cafés and nightspots. A wide range of food is covered, from Peruvian to Italian, as well as locally-crafted coffee, beer and ice cream. The apartment is within walking distance of a movie theater, several live music venues, a farmers’ market in the summer months, and an organic food co-op. It’s also within easy reach of downtown Portland.
The owners have arranged coupons for guests to use at local retailers and eateries, including Frock Boutique, Tin Shed, Digs Inside and Out, Mimosa Studios, Mash Tun Brewery, I Am Yoga Bikram Studio, The Wax Skin Spa, and Crafty Wonderland.
