This luxury villa in Portugal is located on a quiet hillside overlooking the beautiful Algarve coastline, one hour west of Faro. It’s a great property that was recently completely renovated, combining traditional Portuguese architecture with an almost space-age contemporary elegance.
We particularly love its outdoor spaces – terraces on both levels of the house, with abundant room for relaxing. The lower level has a large wooden deck, heated pool and hot tub, and the upper level has a generous terrace that wraps around the house and expands outward. The built-in seating areas, both inside and out, are great features.
Large windows bring the outside in, and each room has ocean views. The four bedrooms all have king-sized beds, making this a great villa for two families sharing, or a large group.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
Housekeeping twice a week is included, and towels and linen are provided. The house is fenced with electric gates. There is a car park for two cars, and inside the house there are three TVs, wifi and a safe. In addition to the fully-equipped interior kitchen, the garden has an outdoor kitchen with barbeque. There is an outdoor shower.
AROUND
The village of Carvoeiro, with its many bars and restaurants, is a seven-minute walk away from the villa. The historic city of Silves, with its ancient castle, is worth a visit, as are Lagos, Ferragudo and Portimão. There are four great beaches only 10 minutes from the house, golf courses five minutes away (Gramacho and Vale da Pinta), three nearby scuba diving centers, and supermarkets within a five-minute drive. The nearby Serra de Monchique mountain range is also great for exploring, and there is a kid-friendly marine park and zoo just 30 minutes away by car.
