The first master bedroom overlooks the lake and comes equipped with a fireplace and an antique roll top tub ideally placed for soaking in the views and a private veranda with a hammock.
The second master suite also includes gorgeous lake views with private access to an adjacent roof terrace with a hammock and fireplace, while the third private room has direct lake access through a terrace with a hammock and private bathroom.

AROUND
The region in and around the southwestern highlands of Lake Atitlan is one of Guatemala’s most picturesque and culturally rich destinations. Formed from a massive volcanic crater and surrounded by steep pointy slopes, the area is home to several traditional Mayan villages including the town of Panajachel, San Juan la Laguna, Jaibalito and Santiago Atitlán where you can take in the ancient Mayan culture while exploring weaving and textile arts, coffee and agricultural plantations, local fishing practices and an unmissable boat tour of the lake’s history. Check out the Atitlán nature reserve and coffee plantation that offers a network of walking trails and a butterfly garden. It’s a twenty minute walk to the village of San Marcos for perusing the restaurants and shops where you can grab a local tuk-tuk or boat ride which launches every twenty minutes.

Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. Nearest Airport: Guatemala City Airport. It is recommended to book a morning flight (before noon) to ensure a comfortable arrival at the property, as the shuttle direct to Panajachel takes approximately 3 hours and the last boat leaving from Panajachel to the property departs at 7:30pm. (Owners can arrange private taxi and private boat for guests). It is also recommended that guests book late afternoon departure flights from Guatemala City, due to the transport times, to ensure you don’t feel rushed to make connections.
BEST TIME TO VISIT: Temperatures are pretty mild year round and suitable for swimming all year round.
