Well known for its party reputation, in Ibiza town it never stops, but there are also sheltered coves, quiet stretches of coastline and lovely inland forests to explore. The picturesque local village of San Rafael is located on the main road between Ibiza Town and San Antonio with stunning views all the way down to the harbor. Well known as the island’s only “Zona de Interés Artesanal,” due to its traditional pottery and ceramics workshops, there is a wonderful selection of pottery made the same way it’s been made since it was introduced to the island thousands of years ago. There is also an abundance of great cafes and pubs that serve freshly sourced and caught local fare.
And of course for the brave revelers, you can dive headlong into the fray and enjoy the fun and nightlife on Playa D’en Bossa and the dizzying pulse of the city to the south.
The UNESCO Old Town dates back centuries and is a must see with its narrow streets and ancient fortifications. Sol Dén Serra Talamanca, Figueretas, Es Codolar, Cala Jondal and Cala Llonga beaches are all within a short drive from the hotel. To escape the boisterous crush in town, the north eastern regions and the village of San Lorenzo and nearby Balafia are peaceful stops steeped in Moorish history.
